Booth & Partners launches operations in Colombia
BOGOTÁ, COLOMBIA — Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) firm Booth & Partners (B&P) announced its expansion to Bogotá, Colombia, in a move that aims to offer its clients improved outsourcing service alternatives.
“We have received numerous requests from our clients and contacts to provide services from Latin America, given the region’s abundant talent pool and service-oriented culture. We are optimistic about the growth opportunities, especially in the thriving tech ecosystem, as Colombia is considered the third-largest and fastest-growing hub for tech talent in the region,” said B&P Colombia Country Lead Suselle Mueller.
B&P has chosen Colombia for its expansion in Latin America due to several key factors. These include the country’s central strategic location, market size, and the availability of bilingual and multilingual talent.
Colombia has emerged as a prime destination for nearshoring, attracting neighboring countries such as the United States and Canada. B&P reported that Colombia’s economy is projected to grow up to 3.1% in 2023. It added that BPO companies in Colombia offer cost-competitive outsourcing solutions to businesses, primarily due to the low cost of living, which is 71% less expensive than in the U.S.
B&P is exploring potential opportunities in various regions.
“Currently, our operations cover Asia Pacific, North America, and South America. We may consider expansion into regions such as Africa or Eastern Europe in the future. Although there is no specific timeline for these potential expansions, a rough estimate could be within the next 24 to 36 months,” explained B&P Co-Founder and Managing Director Jamie Booth.
B&P has a global workforce of over 900 employees, serving over 110 clients across multiple continents. The company maintains a strong presence in the Philippines, with five office locations throughout the country.
The company was recently among 13 outsourcing firms recognized as Best Workplaces in the Philippines for 2023, ranking Top 10 among medium-sized companies. Out of over 3,400 companies in the Global Outsourcing Firm (BPO) Index, B&P also ranked 246th in the Time Doctor OA500, the world’s first objective index of the top 500 outsourcing companies.
