Concentrix, Webhelp complete $4Bn merger
CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES — Business process outsourcing firms Concentrix and Webhelp have completed their merger, valued at approximately $4 billion including net debt, to create a new global leader in customer experience (CX) services.
The combined company, operating under the trade name Concentrix + Webhelp, now spans over 70 countries with expertise across key industries like technology, retail, healthcare, and more.
This strategic combination strengthens Concentrix + Webhelp’s capabilities in AI, digital solutions, and high-value services like sales, marketing, payments, and legal services. It also expands the company’s global footprint, especially in Europe, Latin America, and Africa where Webhelp has a strong presence.
Chris Caldwell, formerly CEO of Concentrix, will lead the combined organization as its new CEO. Joining the Board of Directors are Olivier Duha, former CEO of Webhelp, as Vice Chair; and Nicolas Gheysens of Groupe Bruxelles Lambert, the company’s largest shareholder.
“I am excited to embark on this new journey together and believe that, with our combined strengths, we are uniquely positioned to redefine the industry and design, build and run the future of CX for our amazing and valued clients,” said Caldwell.
The combined company expects to generate approximately $9.8 billion in revenue for fiscal year 2023 on a pro forma basis. The deal is expected to be accretive to non-GAAP EPS in the first full year, with double-digit accretion in the second year.
Concentrix financed the transaction through a $2.15 billion senior notes offering in July and refinancing Webhelp’s existing debt of around 1.55 billion euros ($1.6 billion). At closing, the deal was valued lower than the initially announced $4.8 billion, reflecting Concentrix’s lower share price.
The integration process between the two companies is currently underway with the goal of harnessing synergies and expanding services globally.
