EPAM acquires Colombia-based software maker S4N
American IT engineering and consulting firm EPAM Systems has recently acquired Colombian software maker S4N in a bid to expand its operations in the Latin American region.
In a recent call with investors, EPAM CEO Arkadiy Dobkin highlighted S4N’s expertise in machine learning, data architecture, and cloud operations.
Dobkin also expressed his hope for Colombia to “supply greater scaling capacity for the company” through this merger.
EPAM SVP and Head of Global Delivery Victor Dvorkin stated that “The acquisition of S4N enables our continued progress in building a more agile, diverse and global delivery organization.”
The Pennsylvania-based company said that the acquisition could increase their workforce in the region to 1,500.
