Kamikamica also shared plans of refining incentives specifically aimed at Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO), shared services, and global business services.
“These are aimed at protecting Fiji’s BPO industry from fly-by-night operators, which is one of the most important elements to ensure that the reputation that Fiji has in terms of risk and diversification is maintained,” he stated.
The Trade Minister also underscored the government’s ambitious goal to establish Fiji as a regional powerhouse. The generous incentives and support offered are designed to entice distinguished international brands to the island nation, enhancing its global image.
In a related development, Centrecom Fiji launched its newest satellite contact center operations in Lautoka. Celebrating this as Centrecom Fiji’s fifth establishment in the country, Kamikamica recognized it as a notable accomplishment.
