IBPAP officials affirm commitment to PH IT-BPM sector
MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Several officials from the IT & Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP) affirmed their strong commitment to the local IT-BPM industry.
IBPAP Board of Trustee and Carelon Global Solutions Chief Strategy and Planning Officer Nicki Agcaoili said he is dedicated to “truly driving growth and success for the IT-BPM industry in the Philippines.”
He added that the key to achieving the sector’s next level of growth “requires tapping the undeniable strength and our true power as an industry — our people, the 1.5M Filipinos, as well as our families.”
Capital One Philippines Head of Operations Joseph Paperman is excited to help expand the industry’s reach, strengthen its resilience, and bolster its brand under his term as an IBPAP Board of Trustee.
Assem Roy, Wipro Philippines Country Head, sees prioritizing countryside infrastructure development as a crucial step toward achieving sustainable economic and social growth in the Philippines.
As part of IBPAP’s Board of Trustees, Roy plans to improve telecom infrastructure, strengthen connectivity in provincial cities, and establish a hybrid employment ecosystem that fosters virtual collaboration and mutual creativity.
Meanwhile, IBPAP Vice-Chair and Infosys BPM Country Head Ayhee Campos expressed her excitement about expanding the Philippine competitive advantage on talent creation and development, building a gender-equal culture, and creating a shared value between IBPAP and its stakeholders.
Campos also highlighted IBPAP’s Women In Action (WIA) At IT-BPM initiative that aims to create purposeful connections and empower women in the industry.
Finally, IBPAP Chairman and Accenture Senior MD of Global Delivery for Operations Benedict Hernandez encouraged everyone to join in their vision of generating 2.5 million direct employment and US$59 billion in revenues, as stated in the agency’s IT-BPM Industry Roadmap 2028.
