Indian IT-BPO talent demand grew by 23% in July
The talent demand in the Information Technology (IT) and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry in India has increased by 23% in July, according to TimesJobs’ monthly recruitment indicator RecruiteX.
The recent report stated that the overall hiring activity in the country grew to 10% last month. With retail accounting for the 30% growth rate and FMCG (Fast-moving Consumer Goods) with 29%.
RecruiteX added that employees at a fresher level, or those who have less than 2 years of work experience, are in demand.
Sanjay Goyal, business head at TimesJobs, stated that “the festival season kicking in for several states will further improve the manpower demand in the consumer-led sectors in the coming months.”
