Infosys Q1 revenue increases 21%
IT outsourcing provider Infosys reported a 21.2% boost in revenue to US$ 3.7 billion in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2021-2022.
The company’s digital revenues represented 53.9 % of total revenues, achieving growth of 42.1%. They also added that large deal flows remained strong with a total contract value of $2.6 billion in Q1.
Infosys CEO Salil Parekh said, “We grew at the fastest pace in Q1 in a decade, at 16.9% year-on-year and 4.8% quarter-on-quarter in constant currency. This gives us the confidence to increase our revenue growth guidance to 14$% -16%.”
The Indian-based firm also maintained its margin forecast for the fiscal year 2022 at 22% to 24%.
