More than half of workers are pushing for hybrid work — LHH, The Adecco Group study
About 53% of employees worldwide are pushing for a hybrid working model where more than half of their time is spent remotely.
According to a study by job recruitment solutions provider LHH and its parent company The Adecco Group, 82% of respondents said remote work made them “more productive” at their organizations.
However, the employees’ wellbeing took a hot as 54% of young employees are reporting burnout, while three in 10 said that their mental and physical health declined for the past year.
Meanwhile, 73% of workers globally are calling to be measured by outcomes rather than hours logged at work.
LHH President John Morgan said “Wellbeing in the workplace has become a tipping point in employee satisfaction.”
“Workers are not opposed to hard work or coming back to the office, but they want to do so on their own terms—with more flexibility and recognition both for their work contributions and their mental and physical health.”
Two themes that emerged from the study are that the first, Great Resignation is driven by salaried employees re-evaluating their line of work, and second, that there is a growing disconnect between managers and non-managers in an organization.
