Infosys BPM named Outsourcing Impact Champion
Among all the entries submitted, Infosys BPM earned the esteemed title of Outsourcing Impact Champion for its groundbreaking initiative called Project Genesis.
Launched in 2015, this program has made a substantial impact on education by collaborating with universities, colleges, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) throughout India. Through strategic partnerships and education-centric programs, it has empowered more than 647,000 students and faculty members, highlighting the significant societal contributions that outsourcing companies can achieve.
Distinguished panel of judges for OIR 2024
The awards were judged by a panel of industry leaders. Peta Bilton, Director and Impact Consultant at Known Impact, was joined by Rosario Cajucom-Bradbury, Chairperson of the IT-BPM Innovation Cluster at the Swiss Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines.
Toni Tiemsin, Co-Founder and Chief Strategist of FILI Studios, and Aaron Wright, Director of Operations at Outsource Accelerator, also contributed their expertise.
Bilton praised the applicants, stating, “There are some excellent people implementing great initiatives for our people and planet… This cohort of applicants had a vast array of social outcomes that were innovative, impactful and put people first.”

Key findings from OIR Report
The 2024 OIR Report revealed that the outsourcing industry recorded an impressive 82,808 volunteer hours — a remarkable increase of 73.3% from the previous year. Financial contributions totaled $821,430, marking a shift towards hands-on engagement and volunteerism over monetary donations.
This trend reflects a growing focus on direct community involvement, benefiting over 718,267 individuals through various CSR initiatives, up from last year’s 707,189.
