Shepherd Search Group acquires The Joel Paul Group

FLORIDA, UNITED STATES — Executive search and recruitment firm Shepherd Search Group is expanding its nonprofit division through the acquisition of executive search and consulting company The Joel Paul Group. 

In a press release, Shepherd said that this partnership would combine their extensive Talent Solutions offering and global reach with Joel Paul Group’s niche focus and 36-year expertise.

On a combined basis, the firm will be one of the largest providers of recruitment and Talent Solutions to nonprofit organizations across the United States (U.S.).

Willie Hochman, President & CEO of The Joel Paul Group, said, “Shepherd will take the Joel Paul Group beyond executive search and into interim staffing, recruitment process outsourcing, organizational management, training & performance as well as HR solutions.”

The Joel Paul Group is set to move its corporate headquarters from Boca Ration to Port St. Lucie, where Shepherd Search Group is expanding its corporate office. 

Hochman will remain with the firm as its CEO while also serving as Group President for Shepherd’s nonprofit division.
