US-based BPO launches new office in Davao
US-based Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) firm Full Potential Solutions (FPS) recently opened a new office in Davao City.
The launch marks the official start of the company’s operations after launching a recruitment hub in the city last July.
During the company’s inauguration, FPS Chairman and President Amit Basak said, “We are very pleased to start our operations in Davao and excited to tap the city’s highly skilled outsourcing professionals.”
“This expansion will help bring the kind of excellent service that Full Potential is known for to more customers not only in the Philippines but also worldwide,” he added.
FPS VP of Operations Rex Arenas added that the company intends to employ 1,000 to 2,000 more employees and is also looking to open another site in the city and other parts of the country.
“Davao City is where our growth opportunity is located. This is really one of our flagship facilities and we see Davao as a focal point in Philippine operations,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) in the Davao Region expressed “gratitude and elation” to FPS for choosing Davao City to establish its second site.
DOLE-Davao Regional Director Randolf Pensoy said that besides providing employment opportunities, FPS’s new site “brings another hope, another confidence to our people.”
