{"id":57842,"date":"2023-05-02T15:06:51","date_gmt":"2023-05-02T07:06:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.outsourceaccelerator.com\/?p=57842"},"modified":"2023-05-10T17:39:22","modified_gmt":"2023-05-10T09:39:22","slug":"peza-new-partnerships","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.outsourceaccelerator.com\/peza-new-partnerships\/","title":{"rendered":"PEZA ramps up PH digital economy with new partnerships"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PASAY CITY, PHILIPPINES \u2014 The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) is strengthening the Philippine digital economy by inking alliances with several private companies and government agencies.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to PEZA Director General Tereso Panga, the agency recently partnered with Astrolabe and Digital Pilipinas to improve the financial and economic services in the country.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the same time, PEZA is working with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) to promote digitalization and help enhance the ease of doing business (EODB) in the Philippines.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Panga said they plan to unlock the country\u2019s potential as an emerging economic powerhouse by focusing on areas of investment and supporting the Philippines as a priority investment destination.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cFrom within our domain and sphere of influence in PEZA, we want to put up our own industry excellence centers so we can put up and provide incubation facilities for start-ups to boost our competitiveness in the manufacturing and IT-BPO sectors,\u201d he added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The PEZA EODB initiative aligns with President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr.\u2019s call to lift the difficulties in doing business in the country.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cAs we look to the future, let us continue to collaborate and bring down the pain points that are barriers to entry of investments in the country and achieve our goal of a more inclusive and sustainable economy.
