Accenture, Google team up to support federal agencies
VIRGINIA, UNITED STATES — Accenture Federal Services and Google Public Sector recently unveiled a new Data & Artificial Intelligence Center of Excellence to revolutionize federal agencies through generative AI (GenAI).
The solutions include advanced data and GenAIsolutions, including Google Cloud’s GenAI technologies. Tailored for federal needs, the center focuses on modernizing citizen services through secure, compliant, and efficient data management.
John Goodman, CEO of Accenture Federal Services, emphasized the transformative potential of leveraging large language models for the federal government.
“The ability to use optimal large language models to synthesize, analyze, and contextualize data in a responsible and ethical way offers boundless opportunities for the federal government,” Goodman stated.
He highlighted the center’s commitment to enhancing AI applications for content discovery, call center modernization, and improving end-user experiences.
Accenture and Google’s collaboration aims to harness federal agencies’ vast data resources and provide them with the tools necessary for effective data management and AI deployment.
Karen Dahut, CEO of Google Public Sector, expressed excitement about the partnership’s potential to unlock AI’s capabilities for mission success.
“Google was built on pioneering AI research… We’re thrilled to co-launch the Data & AI Center of Excellence, empowering clients with state-of-the-art capabilities,” Dahut remarked.
This partnership builds on the success of the Cybersecurity Center of Excellence launched in 2023, which focuses on enhancing federal agencies’ capabilities to counter cyber threats.
The ongoing collaboration between Google and Accenture, dating back to 2018, continues to deliver innovative solutions across various domains.
