1.5K job opportunities to be provided by Laguna-based firm

The Yazaki-Torres Manufacturing Inc.(YTMI) opens at least 1,500 job opportunities in its manufacturing company based in Laguna as economic activities resume, said DoLE Secretary Silvestre Bello III.
Secretary Bello revealed last Friday that the Laguna-based manufacturing firm sought the assistance of the department in hiring the needed manpower for its current operations.
In a statement, Bello said, “This is just the kind of collaboration we at DoLE believe is crucial for our country’s continuous recovery… We need to see more partnerships between the government and the private sector for the labor market to continue to flourish and for unemployment to persist on a downward trend.”
YTMI is the largest wiring harness producer and top exporter of automotive parts in the country. The company is recognized in the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) Outstanding Employer Hall of Fame and is a Presidential Outstanding Healthy Workplace Awardee.
