BPO, tech firms shine in 2024 World’s Most Ethical list

ARIZONA, UNITED STATES — Several business process outsourcing (BPO), information technology (IT), and consulting firms were honored at the 2024 World’s Most Ethical Companies Honoree List, released by Ethisphere.

Out of the 136 honorees spanning 20 countries and 44 industries, top companies in BPO, consulting, software services, and IT stood out for their unwavering commitment to business integrity.

Accenture, a global consulting and technology services leader, made the list for the 17th time, demonstrating its ongoing dedication to ethical practices.

Infosys, a leading provider of digital services and consulting, was honored for the fourth consecutive year. CEO Salil Parekh said that this recognition stands testament to the ethical business that the firm practices and encourages across its extended ecosystem.

Other notable tech honorees included Capgemini, Cosmote e-Value, Genpact, HCLTech, IBM, and ManpowerGroup Inc. These companies exemplify the growing importance of ethics and governance in the rapidly evolving technology landscape.

The assessment process for the World’s Most Ethical Companies is rigorous, requiring over 240 proof points on various aspects such as the culture of ethics, ESG practices, compliance programs, and diversity and inclusion initiatives. 

Honorees undergo further qualitative analysis by a panel of experts who spend thousands of hours evaluating the data.
