MARYLAND, UNITED STATES — Remote staffing company 20four7VA has brought demand generation, marketing, digital performance, business development, analytics, workflow automation and AI experimentation together in a single Growth Department.
The department was established in the first quarter of 2026 and is led by Karl Timothy vanVonno, Vice President of Growth.
One team for demand and systems
20four7VA, headquartered in Berlin, Maryland, says it has supported more than 9,000 businesses worldwide through virtual assistant staffing since it began.
The new department’s remit runs from market expansion and brand positioning to website optimization, content strategy, sales pipeline support and revenue analytics. The company did not give a headcount for the department.
It also looks for processes to automate and practical uses of artificial intelligence to support productivity. The company said the department’s structure and priorities were shaped by vanVonno’s background in operations and in scaling execution-driven teams.
“Growth can’t be a collection of disconnected activities; it has to be structured, measurable, and repeatable,” said vanVonno.
“We built this department to create qualified demand while also improving the systems behind the business. Doing so enables us to scale with intent, protect quality, and consistently deliver value to clients.”
Most of a year in operation
Having run since the first quarter, the department now has most of a year of work behind it. 20four7VA earned Inc. 5000 Honor Roll status in August, placing No. 3,943 on the 2026 list after five consecutive years on Inc. magazine’s ranking of America’s fastest-growing private companies.
The company said providers in the sector have to balance market expansion against consistent delivery and operational readiness, as businesses look for more flexible ways to add staff and manage operating costs.
For small and midsize firms hiring virtual assistant support, a provider’s investment in its own analytics and automation can affect service quality as it scales. Buyers building remote work teams can compare providers on the top BPO companies worldwide list.
20four7VA is currently subscribed as an Outsource Accelerator (OA) BPO Partner. Through OA’s Marketing, Sales, and Source Partner Hubs, the firm accesses a unified growth platform designed to convert high-intent prospects and accelerate deal flow in the outsourcing industry.
