24-7 Intouch to expand into Greece

Canada-based customer care and technology firm 24-7 Intouch said it will be expanding to Athens, Greece early this year. It will be the firm’s first European location and 18th globally.
Greg Fettes, co-founder and CEO of 24-7 Intouch, said the company’s global footprint, including its expansion to Europe for the first time, is intentional and enables it to move quickly and anticipate the future growth of its client partners. Fettes pointed out that Greece has a thriving business process outsourcing industry, and that 24-7 Intouch is excited to bring more than 600 jobs, innovative customer care solutions, and its unique culture to the Athens area.
The firm noted Greece’s rising GDP, high level of bilingualism, and a pool of qualified workers. It also noted Athens’ young and educated workforce, making the city the perfect fit from a service culture and community perspective, said Mitul Kotecha, president of 24-7 Intouch. The company currently has a presence in the United States, Canada, Guatemala, Colombia, and the Philippines.
