74% of Filipinos prefer flexible work schedule — Qualtrics

About 74% of Filipino employees prefer having a flexible working schedule as their companies continue to consider, adopt, and refine hybrid work arrangements, according to a research by software company Qualtrics.
In its 2022 Employee Experience Trends report, Qualtics stated that there is a strong preference for remote working in the country, with 58% saying that they would be most satisfied to work at home full time.
Meanwhile, 55% said that they are open to work four days remote -one day at the office, and 52% are willing to go on-site for two days, with the remaining office days done remotely.
In contrast, less than 40% of respondents stated that they will be satisfied of working more than four days in the office.
Qualtrics Southeast Asia Employee Experience Solutions Strategist Lauren Huntington said businesses “must continue to adopt new mindsets, and define and iterate their ways of working” to fill-up their talent demands.
Qualtrics added that providing the right tools to employees to help them fulfill their jobs in hybrid environments should also be prioritized as workers who are satisfied with the technology available are almost five times more likely to stay productive at work.
