7K+ vacancies offered at Bacolod job fair

BACOLOD, PHILIPPINES — Over 7,000 job opportunities await all unemployed, skilled and unskilled workers, fresh graduates, displaced workers, and employees seeking advancement in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental.
The job fair — organized by the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) — is filled with employers from various sectors, including Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) firms.
Overseas employment agencies are also looking to fill over 2,000 vacancies, while the Philippine Army is looking to enlist at least 800 people with the promise of competitive pay and allowances, healthcare benefits, and other opportunities for career development.
PESO Manager Jovelyn Canoy encouraged the public to take advantage of the job fair to apply to multiple companies while saving time, costs, and effort.
“Helping Bacolodnons be employed is a mandate of Mayor Albee Benitez for PESO, and this job fair is just one of the many recurring recruitment events we have prepared for the public,” Canoy added.
