92% of PH workers reveal that hybrid working made them happier

Around 92% of Filipino employees said that the ability to work from anywhere has made them happier and helped enhance their overall well-being and productivity at their organizations.
In a new global study by networking hardware company Cisco, 79% of the respondents said that their quality of work has improved while working in a hybrid arrangement.
Meanwhile, 75% felt that their productivity has enhanced over the last few months.
Cisco Philippines Managing Director Zaza Nicart said, “The last two years have shown us that work is no longer where we go, but what we do. In a hybrid normal, employees and employers in the Philippines are experiencing tangible benefits from improved employee wellbeing to better productivity and work performance.”
At the same time, Cisco reported that 86% of Filipino workers found an improved work-life balance while working away from the office.
The financial well-being of Filpino residents also improved with the average saving increasing to over $6,552 a year.
However, Nicart said that “hybrid work is more than just supporting a safe office re-entry. Leaders need to rethink how to cultivate an inclusive culture.”
Cisco added that the future of work in the Philippines is hybrid — with 60% percent preferring this arrangement to be permanent looking forward.
