- InteLogix opened its Egyptian headquarters in New Cairo
- The move follows its acquisition of Athear for Marketing Services
- The Egypt hub supports six languages for Europe and GCC clients
- InteLogix traces 68 years of history to GC Services
NEW CAIRO, EGYPT — InteLogix has opened its Egyptian headquarters in New Cairo following the completion of its acquisition of Athear for Marketing Services Co., a customer experience (CX) and workforce solutions provider.
The combined operation targets outsourcing clients across Europe and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), with Athear providing multilingual delivery capability across six languages.
Egypt hub expands InteLogix’s multilingual delivery capacity
According to a report from TechAfrica News, InteLogix said the New Cairo facility combines advanced infrastructure with multilingual talent, building on the company’s existing Egyptian operations to serve European and Gulf clients.
The September 17, 2026 ribbon-cutting, attended by Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) chief executive officer Ahmed Elzaher, marks a significant expansion of InteLogix’s business process outsourcing (BPO) footprint across North Africa.
InteLogix, which traces 68 years of operating history to its predecessor GC Services, delivers services to clients in financial services, telecommunications, healthcare, and retail.
Deal rationale and service integration targets
An acquisition announcement published by PRNewswire said the Egypt hub supports six languages, covering Arabic, Turkish, French, German, Spanish, and Portuguese, and is aimed at clients across the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Luxembourg, Belgium, Switzerland, and the GCC.
Athear chairman and chief executive officer Tarek Zidan said in a company statement that the partnership aligns with the firm’s track record of consistent service quality, capabilities InteLogix will integrate into its offshore outsourcing delivery model.
Athear provides CX managed workspace, professional employer organization (PEO), and human resources organization (HRO) services, which InteLogix said will extend its existing portfolio beyond contact centre and accounts receivable management.
Egypt’s outsourcing sector has drawn multiple global providers in 2026, with ITIDA positioning the country as a multilingual delivery hub for European and Gulf companies seeking call center and staff augmentation support.
For buyers evaluating top BPO companies worldwide, InteLogix’s move into Egypt signals that proximity to European time zones and Arabic-language capability are increasingly central criteria for firms building out nearshore and offshore capacity.
With the New Cairo site operational, InteLogix is positioned to compete for outsourcing contracts from European and Gulf enterprises that have historically relied on South Asian or Southeast Asian delivery markets.
