MARYLAND, UNITED STATES — Virtual staffing company 20four7VA says it is a finalist in the 2026 Best of America Small Business Awards (BASA Awards) for the second consecutive year, after a year in which it set up a dedicated Growth Department, launched a credit repair virtual assistant training program and expanded its VA portfolio.
It is competing in the Staffing and HR Agency Firm category.
What changed since 2025
20four7VA, founded in 2013 and headquartered in Berlin, Maryland, was recognized in the same category at the 2025 awards. The company said that since then it has continued to improve its services and strengthen its operations.
To date, it has placed more than 20,000 virtual assistants and supported more than 9,000 companies. Its managed staffing model covers talent sourcing and vetting, client-VA matching, onboarding and ongoing support, with remote professionals working in administrative support, customer service, sales, operations, bookkeeping and other specialized functions.
The company says its approach centers on long-term relationships with both clients and remote professionals, with ongoing support throughout the staffing relationship.
“Being named a BASA Awards finalist for the second consecutive year is a meaningful recognition of the work our team puts in every day and the relationships we continue to build with our clients and remote professionals,” said Catherine vanVonno, president and CEO of 20four7VA.
How the awards are decided
The BASA Awards recognize small businesses across the United States for their achievements, contributions and impact, across six tracks and more than 150 categories.
Entries that score at least 75% with the judges are named finalists and go forward to a public vote. The category winner is decided on the judges’ marks and the public votes combined.
BASA says the awards are judged by a panel of independent third-party industry leaders from across the United States.
Public voting closed on Oct. 12, and the results have not yet been announced.
A run of recognition
The finalist placing follows 20four7VA reaching the Inc. 5000 Honor Roll, which OA reported in August.
For small and midsize businesses hiring virtual assistant support, a provider’s cumulative placement record and its onboarding and support model are worth checking alongside any award. Buyers comparing a remote staffing agency with other options can start with the top BPO companies worldwide list.
20four7VA is currently subscribed as an Outsource Accelerator (OA) BPO Partner. Through OA’s Marketing, Sales, and Source Partner Hubs, the firm accesses a unified growth platform designed to convert high-intent prospects and accelerate deal flow in the outsourcing industry.
