PH extends foreign entry ban, allows aliens with travel exemptions

The Philippines extended its travel ban to foreigners until April 30. However, the Bureau of Immigration (BI) announced that it will allow entry to aliens who were given entry exemption documents prior to March 22.
Immigration Commissioner Jaime Morente said other foreign nationals are still prohibited from entering the country, except “foreign parents, spouse, and children of Filipinos, provided they are traveling with the Filipino principal, and have a valid entry visa.”
The revised rule is pursuant to the latest resolution of the Inter-Agency Task on the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF).
