Accenture pledges US$5mn for PH’s COVID-19 response

Global business process outsourcing (BPO) provider Accenture pledged US$5-million or P240-million to respond to COVID-related challenges urgently in the Philippines “as part of its continuing commitment to bring positive change in how communities and employees live and work in the country.”
The firm noted that it would also extend its free vaccination program to its employees and eligible dependents in the country. In addition, it provided a one-time work from home enablement reimbursement for employees, and introduced a COVID home care program.
Accenture country managing director Lito Tayag said that the pledge alongside with the company’s initiatives “underscores our strong resolve and active commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of our people and fellow Filipinos during these challenging times.”
