Cavite, Laguna, Batangas attract diverse industrial projects

The areas of Cavite, Laguna, and Batangas are attracting various projects, ranging from office spaces to industrial lots and warehouses, due to its “readiness for industrial activity,” said real estate advisory firm PRIME Philippines.
According to a report by the real estate firm, the three areas have 365,000 square meters of total office space as of the first quarter of this year – 40% of which are business process outsourcing companies.
Cavite accounts for the majority of the office demand. However, industrial ecozones are situated in Laguna, while Batangas takes pride in the largest amount of land.
Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) Director-General Charito Plaza noted that the agency is driving the areas’ growth by increasing the number of ecozones.
