PEZA promotes PH ecozones to American investors

The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) tapped American firms when it promoted investment opportunities in the country’s various economic zones at the virtual General Membership Meeting (GMM) spearheaded by the American Chamber (AmCham) of Commerce of the Philippines.
PEZA Director-General Charito Plaza revealed that the Americans are the third biggest investor in PEZA, with a share of 15.20 percent. Plaza added that there are 976 American enterprises employing 294,137 workers in economic zones, and she’s seeking to further strengthen ties with international investors.
Plaza also announced PEZA’s “Transformational Roadmap,” a medium and long-term development plan for the next 25 years known. It seeks to unlock the potential of the Philippine industries in the next two decades.
