PH administered 5M COVID-19 vaccine jabs by May

The Philippines had administered 5,120,023 COVID-19 vaccine doses as the month of May ended. This leaves 1,189,353 Filipinos fully vaccinated individuals.
Vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr. said that 1.4 million or 93.33% of health workers had been vaccinated, 1,368,836 or 13.38% of senior citizens, and 1,150,196 or 22.7% of those with comorbidities.
This June, Galvez touted that an estimated 10 million doses of vaccines will arrive in the country, This includes donations from the World Health Organization-led COVAX Facility, or 2.3 million Pfizer and two million AstraZeneca doses.
The Duterte administration aims to vaccinate up to 70 million people this year.
