NASSCOM welcomes India’s commitment towards ease of doing business

The National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) welcomed the Indian government’s commitment towards ease of doing business and its dedication to the sustainable growth of the information technology-business process management (IT-BPM) sector.
The government issued clarifications on all the points raised by NASSCOM which will not only be beneficial to the industry’s growth, but will also put the IT-BPM sector in a competitive position in terms of ease of doing business.
The new guidelines will allow interconnectivity between all types of OSPs (other service providers) using common communication resources, which will provide greater flexibility to better serve the global market.
“We congratulate the IT Minister, Shri RS Prasad for this landmark decision, acknowledging the industry’s needs in this regard and issuing significant reforms towards further simplifying the OSP guidelines,” NASSCOM issued in a statement.
