BPO sector named 2nd job contributor for fresh grads
Recruitment portal Jobstreet named the Business Process Outsourcing/Customer service sector as the second biggest job contributor (14%) for fresh graduates.
The BPO sector only ranked second to the Education sector, which remained as “top specialization” (21%) mainly through ESL or English as a second language remains the top choice for fresh graduates.
Other popular job opportunities for fresh graduates are Clerical/Administrative Support, General Work, Healthcare, Security/armed forces, General/cost accounting, Sales, Banking and finance and Agriculture.
