SAP, Bosch to train tech graduates in Costa Rica
The Cenfotec University in Costa Rica has partnered with resource planning software firm SAP ERP and multinational IT company Bosch to provide training for graduates that are planning to enter the IT services industry.
Costa Rica’s investment promotion agency CINDE has disclosed that there are currently 30 unemployed graduates that are already undergoing training.
CINDE Director Vanessa Gibson said that the “ultimate goal of this initiative is for the young people to be able to access information to build technical competencies that will give them an advantage when seeking job opportunities.”
SAP has already done similar collaborations with other countries across the world through SAP University.
Meanwhile, Bosch Director of Shared Services Marco Sevilla noted that they have “witnessed how programs for developing critical thinking can drastically change the social, economic, and environmental climate of a city or country.”
