ECOP launches vaccination drive for member workers

The Employers Confederation of the Philippines (ECOP) has started its vaccination drive for its member workers as part of the agency’s “Reform. Rebound. Recover: 1M Jobs (1MJ) Project”.
Under the 1MJ Project, ECORP has pledged to help the government’s vaccine rollout by inoculating its own employees and to generate one million new jobs by the end of the year amid the pandemic.
In a statement, the agency said that individuals working in the manufacturing and construction industry in the capital region will be the first in the line-up to receive their vaccine jabs.
“Discussions with other industry associations are underway for the planned rollout in their respective sectors,” the confederation added.
The ECOP said the first dose of vaccines will also be given for workers in the same sectors in Regions 3, 4A, and 7.
ECORP also stated that they will boost its vaccine procurement for their existing and prospective workers.
