72% of UAE firms to hire new employees in 2022

About 72% of companies in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are planning to hire new employees in 2022, according to a survey from job search platform Bayt.com.
Results from the study showed that 25% of UAE employers are looking for customer service representatives, followed by 19% of companies recruiting sales executives, and 17% for both HR managers and receptionists.
Meanwhile, 38% of employers said that they are actively looking for applicants with managerial experience, while 31% are searching for candidates with mid-level experience and 24% are expecting to hire employees with sales and marketing experience.
Additionally, 52% of respondents are seeking workers with good communication skills in English and Arabic, 48% are looking for a team player, 43% are searching for someone with good leadership skills, and 37% want to employ people who can work under pressure.
Forty-five percent of UAE-based firms are planning to hire in the next three months for a maximum of five jobs, while 25% are looking for employees who can fill about six to 10 jobs in their organizations.
