Metro Manila under alert level 4 until Oct. 15

Metro Manila will stay under Alert Level 4 until October 15 despite the decline in the COVID-19 reproduction rate in the region, said Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque.
In a press conference, Roque stated that the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) extended the pilot implementation of the Alert Levels System in Metro Manila.
To assist in economic recovery, the IATF gave an additional 10% operation expansion in indoor establishments located in Alert Level 4 cities for fully vaccinated individuals.
Face masks are still required for any operating businesses and group activities are still not allowed.
Establishments operating under Alert Level 4 with a Safety Seal Certification are also given an additional venue capacity of 10%..
