NCR under Alert Level 2 starting Nov. 5

The National Capital Region (NCR) will be downgraded to Alert Level 2 starting November 5 to 21, as approved by the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF), according to an announcement by the Malacañang.
Under Alert Level 2, indoor establishments are allowed to operate to 50% capacity while outdoor establishments can operate until 70% capacity. All the employees in these stores are required to be fully inoculated.
The same conditions apply to amusement parks. Gaming establishments, on the other hand, will remain closed.
The IATF also approved the development of a “sub-Technical Working Group on Data Analytics” that will base new alert level assignments on the data nearest to the implementation date.
Starting December 1, alert levels will be determined every 15th and 30th of the month. Escalations may be done at any time during the implementation period as warranted.
The IATF also directed the National Task Force Against COVID-19 (NTF) and other regional task groups to give weekly feedback on the alert system rollout.
Malacañang stated that the IATF amended the implementation guidelines “to clarify the allowed movement of persons” under different alert levels.
