Kyndryl partners with Microsoft in a strategic deal

Global IT infrastructure services provider Kyndryl announced a partnership with tech giant Microsoft that aims to combine both of their capabilities in targeting enterprise customers. This is Kyndryl’s first deal since spinning off from IBM and becoming an independent public company.
In a statement, Kyndryl said that this collaboration is expected to provide “incremental multi-billion-dollar revenue opportunities” for the two organizations.
This partnership will focus on creating new solutions for customers across data modernization and governance, AI-driven innovations, cyber security and resiliency, and transformation of mission-critical workloads to the cloud.
Kyndryl will offer advisory, implementation, and managed services for complex hybrid IT environments, while a co-innovation lab will be created to create new customer capabilities on Microsoft Cloud.
Microsoft will also build the “Kyndryl University for Microsoft” to help advance the skills of Kyndryl employees.
