Toll Group launches PH office
Australian logistics company Toll Group opened an office in the Philippines expecting to reach double-digit growth in the next five years in its industrial, retail, technology, and automotive verticals.
In a statement, the firm said that the expansion will provide more effective support to local businesses and give them access to global opportunities.
Toll Group’s PH facility is located in Aseana City, Parañaque which is close to major seaports and airports.
Benjamin Bathan was named as the company’s country manager for the Philippines and will be responsible for building the local team’s capabilities for future growth.
Toll Global Forwarding Senior Vice President for the ASEAN and Indian subcontinent Rajeev Sood said the pandemic made it necessary for businesses “to diversify [its] supply networks” for business continuity and resilience.
Sood added that Toll Group’s direct PH presence reaffirms their “commitment to helping businesses across Asia navigate supply chain challenges and contributes to the continued expansion of our regional network and presence.”
