TCS expanding New Jersey office, to hire 1000 employees

Leading software services company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is planning to expand its New Jersey operations by hiring nearly 1,000 additional employees by the end of 2023.
The India-based tech firm said that this move will allow them to meet the growing needs of customers who are looking to digitally transform their businesses.
To grow its local IT talent pool for the state, TCS will also extend the reach of its science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) and computer science education programs in the American state by 25%.
New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy said that TCS is opening thousands of highly-skilled jobs and providing significant economic growth to New Jersey.
TCS North America Chairman Surya Kant said that New Jersey is an important technology hub for the firm and is emerging as a center of innovation.
TCS is among the top two recruiters of IT services talent in the United States (US), hiring more than 21,500 employees in the past five years.
The tech giant employs over 20,000 in the country. The US is also its top client and revenue market.
