Contact Center Week raises Fiji’s outsourcing profile
Fiji’s Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry was highlighted as an outsourcing destination of choice for Australian and New Zealand companies at the Contact Center Week (CCW 2022) held in Gold Coast, Australia.
Outsource Fiji, the one-stop-shop website for everything about outsourcing and investing in Fiji, was the destination partner and awards night sponsor for CCW 2022.
The event was attended by Fiji’s Minister for Commerce, Trade, Tourism, and Transport Faiyaz Koya.
During his keynote address, Koya said that Fiji has become a “nearshoring mecca” because of its proximity to New Zealand and Australian markets.
The Minister pointed out that Fiji is only four hours away from these two countries and investors can enjoy a perfect holiday while visiting their local service providers.
Besides their strategic location, Koya added that they have “familiarity with the culture and lifestyle of the Pacific region.”
The CCW Excellence Awards recognizes the most innovative companies and top-performing executives for their extraordinary contributions to the customer contact profession.
