Alorica to hire 500 workers in Dominican Republic

Global Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) provider Alorica is looking to hire 500 employees in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic.
In a press release, the company said that they are looking for applicants who are fluent in English, have a valid work permit, and have computer skills. The recruits will work in the customer service department and will be allowed to work either from home or in the office.
Since Alorica’s expansion in the country last 2013, the company has already employed over 2,700 professionals in the Dominican Republic.
Aside from hiring bonuses — that could reach up to US$1,000 — and free medical care, the US-based firm also offers a six-week training for its new employees that aims to strengthen their managerial and industry-related skills.
According to Alorica Latin America and the Caribbean President Jose Ramirez, they seek to “give people the possibility of having a stable, well-paid job with the possibility of growing as a professional.”
Jesus Hildago, Country Manager for Alorica added that to invest more in their human talent and increase “all the opportunities that we offer our collaborators.”
