Aboitiz’s new office tower looking to attract BPO firms

Newly-launched AboitizLand property LIMA Tower One is looking to attract several Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) firms to its 794-hectare estate in Lipa-Malvar, Batangas.
The 11-story office tower is set to become the first office tower to be registered with the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA).
LIMA Tower One offers a gross leasable area of 23,000 square meters and will be the first of seven towers in LIMA’s growing Central Business District.
LIMA Land President and Aboitiz InfraCapital Economic Estates Head Rafael Fernandez de Mesa said that the towers are built to host outsourcing companies who are looking for new spaces outside Metro Manila.
He added that “LIMA Estate is within a 10-kilometer radius of 23 colleges and universities” whose graduates are expected to become a “fresh untapped labor pool” for BPOs.
Aboitiz appointed Leechiu Property Consultants (LPC) as the exclusive broker of the office tower.
The firm also partnered with the Philippine Green Building Council in securing BERDE certifications for the LIMA Tower One and is involved in a pilot program for district certification for the entire estate.
