Staff training and development iQor’s main focus in Trinidad and Tobago

To ensure they only offer the best professional customer care services, Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) firm iQor trains staff from their own development center in Trinidad and Tobago.
In an interview with Business Day, iQor VP of Operations and Country Manager Dr. William Huggins said that teaching, motivating, and serving their employees have been at the “core of iQor.”
The US-based firm specializes in BPO services, with an emphasis on customer service. It provides omnichannel support — such as voice, chat, email, and social media— using intelligent automation, conversational AI, and speech analytics.
In 2021, iQor received the Judges Choice Award from AI customer service and workforce management company Nice workforce management.
Huggins said that this proves that the country’s workforce can provide great service.
The outsourcing agency also provides its university for training and developing its staff.
As Trinidad and Tobago’s largest BPO firm, iQor’s expansion is helping the government in providing jobs for the locals.
Local foreign investment agency InvesTT said that the country has the capacity to safely employ 10,000 people in the BPO sector.
