CIB.O appoints Wipro country head as its new president

The Cebu IT-BPM Organization (CIB.O) had recently appointed Aseem Roy as its new president following Pert Cabataña’s retirement earlier this month.
Roy is known as the country head of Indian multinational corporation Wipro. He previously served as CIB.O’s vice president, simultaneously handling its international relations portfolio.
In a statement, CIB.O said that Roy “enthusiastically accepted the role with all of his heart and wisdom, and promised to direct the organization to fulfill its organizational vision.”
Roy has a rich and diversified experience managing businesses in three international locations that cover multiple customers and people in complex technology landscapes. He dedicated half of his two-decade stint in Wipro to working in the region of the APJ (Asia Pacific and Japan).
At the same time, he managed different service delivery portfolios, transition, process excellence, and greenfield setup and now leads the geo delivery for Wipro Ltd in the ASEAN.
Lastly, Ry had been the fundamental driving force in making Wipro among the major India-headquartered companies in the Philippines and the largest private employer in Cebu City.
