1K jobs to open in Bohol, majority from IT-BPO

Over 1,000 job vacancies will be opened for job seekers in the upcoming Sandugo Job Fair 2022 in Tagbilaran City, Bohol with the majority of it coming from the Information Technology and Business Process Outsourcing (IT-BPO) industry.
Bohol Employment and Placement Office (BEPO) chief Vilma Yorong said that they are expecting to fill more than a thousand vacant positions on the day itself. Outsourcing giant Concentrix, alone, will open 850 jobs.
At the same time, overseas recruitment agencies stated that they are looking for nurses, caregivers, chefs, cashiers, waiters, HR managers, dental hygienists, dental technicians, electricians, laborers, plumbers, masons, archive clerks, florists, and gardeners, among others.
The job openings are in various countries including Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Cyprus, Qatar, and Jordan.
Meanwhile, the hospitality, construction, retail, and healthcare sectors will also participate in the event.
The job fair is part of the month-long Sandugo Festival and will be the first in-person job fair in Bohol since the pandemic started.
About 20 local companies and 15 overseas employment agencies were expected to join the job fair.
