VXI opens new site in Davao

Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) company VXI Global Solutions recently opened its fifth site in Davao City with a goal of opening around 5,000 jobs in the area.
In a statement, VXI Senior VP and Country Manager Eppie Titong said that the firm is not only employing and providing livelihood to thousands of ‘Dabawenyos’ but is also contributing to the growth and development of the community.
VXI is currently the largest employer in the Davao Region with about 7,000 employees in total from its other existing sites in SM Ecoland, Felcris Centrale, Robinsons Cybergate, and Robinsons Cybergate Delta.
The Davao City Investment Promotion Center (DCIPC) also recently recognized the firm for its outstanding contributions to the city’s economic development initiatives.
“We are very proud of our achievements here in Davao. We cannot wait to grow our team even further with the launch of this new site in the Davao Finance Center,” Titong added.
For his part, Davao City Mayor Sebastian Duterte said that VXI is a “great partner” to the city government as the firm believed in the talent of ‘Dabawenyos’ in the IT-BPM industry.
“…we are in full support of their expansion as they showcase local capabilities at the world stage,” Duterte added.
