Despite the impending global recession, 84% of Chief Experience Officers (CXOs) in India maintain their optimism toward their company’s growth in the upcoming year.
According to a poll conducted by custom research and analytics solutions provider Benori Knowledge, the optimism of Indian business leaders is reflected in their plans for new strategic alliances and geographical expansions in 2023.
Several leaders also said that they intend to scale their digital transformation budgets in the upcoming year, with 42% of leaders highlighting the integration of emerging technologies as one of the major themes for 2023.
Meanwhile, ESG integration will also be highlighted in the next year, with 65% of CXOs believing that having these initiatives will impact financial performance.
However, Benori’s report added that 62% of leaders said that talent acquisition and skill gaps would be the industry’s biggest challenges in 2023. Moonlighting, which has recently been highlighted as a concern for remote and hybrid businesses, was only seen as a worrying phenomenon by 20% of leaders.
Benori Knowledge Co-Founder and CEO Ashish Gupta said, “Though global economic growth is currently experiencing a decline, India and other emerging economies are poised to remain resilient in the face of macroeconomic pressures.”
“The economic uncertainty, combined with evolving customer needs, has led enterprises to double down on their efforts — with a renewed focus on operational efficiency, productivity, and resilience, generating a positive sentiment in India Inc,” Gupta added.
