Outsource Fiji to tap into New Zealand

SUVA, FIJI — Investment agency Outsource Fiji is looking at diversifying and focusing on new markets in promoting the country as an outsourcing destination.
According to Outsource Fiji Executive Director Sagufta Janif, they are working with stakeholders and trade officers to tap into the New Zealand market and bring them in as new clients.
“We haven’t really tapped into the New Zealand market, but we are now seeing a potential increase in the demand from the country. We are a very good nearshore opportunity for them,” Janif added.
The director also said that Fiji is seeing a lot of growth in its outsourcing industry. The country managed to keep the sector “up and running” during the COVID-19 pandemic and even increased the number of jobs, which has impressed potential clients.
However, Janif reiterated that work at the back end continues.
