DXC Technology seals multi-year contract with Swiss firm Georg Fischer

SCHAFFHAUSEN, SWITZERLAND — Multinational IT services and consulting company DXC Technology won a five-year contract with industrial firm Georg Fischer (GF) to help digitalize the work experience of its employees around the world.
In a press release addressing the partnership, GF said they would utilize DXC’s Modern workplace solutions to build a digital workplace environment based on Microsoft and ServiceNow technologies.
This move would help increase GF’s flexibility in sharing designs, workstreams, and files through a centralized network. Moreover, DXC’s ServiceNow technology would also help enhance the productivity and connectivity between GF’s global employees.
DXC’s ServiceNow Strategic Business Group is also expected to bring a digital management process to improve GF’s IT issue resolution and management, minimizing disruption across the industrial firm’s global network.
“With 15,000 employees spread across 34 countries and 139 companies, including 61 production facilities, efficient global employee collaboration is pivotal to achieving success,” said GF CIO Uwe Kuehne.
“With the latest digital technologies, we can bring people together, personalize their experience and generate high-performing teams.”
