Zoom to launch contact centers in Australia, New Zealand

CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES — Communications technology company Zoom Video Communications announced the launch of the Zoom Contact Center in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).
Described as an omnichannel contact center-as-a-service (CCaaS) experience, Zoom Contact Center would assist businesses in delivering quick and personalized responses to their customers through various channels — including voice, chat, and SMS — while also being optimized for video.
This new innovation would also help agents execute tasks such as filling out forms, troubleshooting problems, and finding their way to customer information quickly and easily.
Zoom also emphasized that their new service would allow hybrid work for contact center agents, agent- and self-service working together in harmony, and help companies gain customers’ trust quickly through empathy.
Michael Chetner, Head of Zoom ANZ, said, “Now more than ever, flexibility and accessibility are more important to the customer experience. Zoom is excited that businesses can differentiate themselves and build customer loyalty by leveraging our contact center technology.
“Zoom removes friction and complexity from the customer experience, allowing businesses to deliver great service from anywhere,” Chetner added.
