HGS posts 8.3% growth in total income for December quarter

BENGALURU, INDIA — IT service management company and Outsource Accelerator (OA) Source Partner Hinduja Global Solutions’ (HGS) consolidated net income grew by 8.3% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹1164.64 Cr (US$140 million) in the third quarter of FY2022.
During its latest stock exchange filing, the company’s EBITDA was declared to be at ₹127.8 crore (US$15.5 million) during the same quarter — up 57.1% YoY — while its net profit reached ₹518.40 crore (US$62.7 million).
According to HGS Executive Director and Group CEO Partha DeSarkar, the firm continues “to sustain its momentum, led by growth in most of its geographies, expansion in existing client accounts, and traction in its digital solutions business.”
The CEO also revealed that their digital business grew by 36% YoY as they prioritize long-term deals in areas such as managed services and the cloud.
DeSarkar is also expecting HGS’ TekLink acquisition to expand the company’s digital and analytics capabilities.
The shares of HGS closed yesterday, February 13, on the NSE at ₹1,316 (US$15.92) apiece, up by 1.22% from the previous close of ₹1,300.15 (US$15.73).
