CCA to offer contact center training in Cebu

DANAO CITY, CEBU — The Call Center Academy (CCA) signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the local government of Danao, the Cebu Technological University-Danao City, Colegio de San Antonio de Padua, and Ramon Nito Durano Family Foundation Inc., (RNDFFI) to offer free training programs to the city’s residents.
Under the agreement, the CCA will give out 300 TESDA scholarship slots for Contact Center Services NCII, 25 for Medical Transcription NCII, 100 for Events Management Services NCIII, and 100 for Creative Web Design.
The academy will also provide intensive training programs under the TESDA-Training for Work Scholarship Program/Tulong Trabaho Scholarship Program, including mock interviews and phone simulations conducted by qualified trainers.
On the other hand, the Danao City government will organize job fairs, invite IT-BPO companies to join, and provide other necessary support to the scholars and the CCA.
Danao City Mayor Mix Durano said, “We’re excited about this partnership with CCA and with our other counterparts for this project since this supports our promise to help residents of Danao City find more work opportunities.”
CCA is an institution accredited by TESDA that offers Technical and Vocational Education and Training Programs (TVET).
